Burgundy is one of the largest regions in France and offers a wide variety in landscapes. The valley of the Saône river, the Burgundy Bresse (famou for the chicken), the hills of the Mâconnais and all the vineyards from Dijon to Mâcon are just a few of the landscapes you will discover in Burgundy.

Castles of Burgundy

Cormatin, Couches, Pierreclos, Ferté

Burgundy offers a great number of castles to visit. Very near to our campsites you will be able to visit Château de Cormatin, Château de Brançion or even Château-Abbaye de la Ferté. A little further from the campsites you will also find the castles of Couches, Berzé le Chatel or even Pierreclos.

Chalon, Tournus, Louhans

Burgundy has many great cities to visit, all have their own attractions: Louhans with the arcades and famous Monday market, Chalon sur Saône has the Saint Vincent's cathedral and the photography museum, Tournus boasts the over thousand year old Saint Philibert Abbey and the magnificent Greuze museum and then there is Beaune with the world famous Hôtel-Dieu and Hospices.... We may not forget the city of Dijon (city of the Ducs de Bourgogne) and Mâcon (Préfecture of Saône et Loire department)
