Chalon dans la Rue – 22nd-26th of July – Chalon sur Saône

The biggest annual event in Chalon sur Saône. Chalon dans la Rue is the largest street theatre festival in France. Music concerts, theater shows and many other activities animate the streets of Chalon sur Saône during 4 and a half days. More information

Craftsmen market – 25th of July – Louhans

The Tourist Office of Louhans organizes the Craftsmen’s market under the famous arcades of Louhans. About 40 different craftsmen show their creations and talents to the public.

Dali Exhibition – 25th of April – 15th of November – Château de Pommard

The famous Château de Pommard, owner of 2 sculptures of Salvatore Dali, exhibits more than 20 other creations of the world famous artist during 8 months. More information

The Great Hours of Cluny – July and August - Cluny

An excellent classical music festival which takes place in the prestigious abbey of Cluny and in the Notre-Dame church. After the concert, wine tastings are organised.

Musical Festival from Bach to Bacchus – 4th -7th of July – Meursault

24th Edition of this "Bach to Bacchus" festival. This festival combines classical music (concerts in the St Nicolas church anda t Château de Meursault) and Grand Cru wine tastings.

Campsite Pont de Bourgogne at Chalon sur Saône, the Campsite of Tournus and Kawan Village Château de l'Epervière at Gigny sur Saône are all open and will be delighted to welcome you in Southern Burgundy!

Special Offer on our three campsites

For each stay of one week or more on any of our three campsites, we offer you the booking fee. Offer valid for campsite pitches, but also for the rental accommodation at Château de l’Epervière.

Wine tastings at Château de l'Epervière

At Kawan Village Château de l'Epervière, we will continue to organize wine tasting sessions in our 14th century cellars. We will open the cellars three times a week enabling you to taste some great wines from Burgundy…

Three times a week from May to September, different wine growers from Burgundy will explain the art of wine making and of course make you taste their best wines.

Family Friendly Burgundy

For those who think that children would be bored in Burgundy: you’re wrong ! Since 2002, our region has actually developed a concept especially designed for families, called « Aventures Mômes en Bourgogne du Sud » (Children adventures in Southern Burgundy). All tourist attractions and places of interest who participate in this offer propose visits or activities especially for children. This makes a lot of places to visit very attractive for families, knowing up front that your children will also enjoy themselves!

Fishing atChâteau de l'Epervière

The parc of Château de l'Epervière is organised around a fishing pond of 1.5 ha. In this private lake (no permit needed), you are allowed to fish as much as you like. Carp, roach, tench and other species can be found in the lake. The river Saône (at only 500 yards of the campsite, permit needed) also offers good fishing !
